Meet Lynn...

“Tell people you love them!”

For most people, one cancer diagnosis is a pivotal moment in life.

For Lynn Manwar, three cancer diagnoses have meant a chance to fully embrace them “as part of my karmic journey to inspire others
to live life fully.”

And she has achieved that. Her first diagnosis—thyroid cancer—came in 1997 at the age of 24. But she didn’t let that slow her down.

“I was more upset about the possibility of not going to live in Japan than having cancer. I also felt news of disease was a lesson for me
to learn.”

Diagnosed again in 2011 at 38 with breast cancer and at 40 with metastatic breast cancer while in India, Lynn has grown more determined to travel, meet people and inspire them. Her writing has also been published in Making It In High Heels 2: For Future Leaders and Role Models.

“I define myself as someone who makes a difference in the lives of others through service. I am an inspirational human being!”

"If the After Breast Cancer Program didn't exist, I would be still stuffing my old bras with anything I could  find and hoping that it matched close enough for others not to notice. Thank you for everything you do to help women like me!”
